We are happy to share our broad view of the world of the works council (WoCo). Our core values are reflected in everything we do.
Connecting: we invest in the power of connection on all levels. Both between the WoCo members and between the WoCo and the director. Between the WoCo and us as organizational consultants, as well as from our broad knowledge network. We like to make connections where we see the added value.
Stimulating: we always go the extra mile, enjoy looking beyond what we’re asked, and encourage WoCo members and organizations to do the same. We encourage you to develop your own initiatives, embrace your input and ideas, and think outside the box. Through our role in higher education, we also stimulate the new generation of professionals and let ourselves be inspired by them.
Passionate: we love our profession and are happy to share our knowledge with WoCo’s who want to take a step forward. We believe in the added value of employee participation. Clients mirror us in that, and the mutual energy we feel during our sessions gives us wings.

“Good employee participation is human work.”
Employee participation ensures better quality decision-making in organizations.
There are three core tasks:
- Making a substantive contribution.
- Making connections and discussing them.
- Tread new paths by being active and thinking out of the box.
…that requires a WoCo that can effectively shape employee participation.
We do this by combining three pillars.
Good employee participation can arise when the WoCo understands three pillars: strategy, finances, and HR. When the WoCo thinks along and has a substantial point of view, you can add value to decision-making processes.
The strength lies in developing a balance between all these angles. That makes it possible to consider the interests of personnel and the interests of the organization. Only when this balance is clear can the WoCo have the ‘right conversation’ with the director.
Our field of work
In particular, DeVerandermotOR specializes in assisting WoCo’s during reorganizations, mergers, and change processes. We get energy from motivating groups and individuals to give those adjustments or innovations a chance of success.
To initiate change, moving smoothly between the various stakeholders at strategic, tactical, and operational levels is essential. DeVerandermotOR has the in-house expertise to help the WoCo with this. We are also the WoCo’s partner when it comes to the capacity to translate complex material from strategic to operational and vice versa.
